What is chin botox?

Bruxism, which we may encounter in daily life, mostly happens to us unknowingly while sleeping at night. With teeth clenching and grinding, pain occurs in our joints and side parts of our head. However, when we wake up in the morning, we may have difficulty opening our mouth. In patients with severe bruxism, we may encounter abrasion and fractures in the teeth. With Botox treatment; We aim to weaken this muscle to a certain extent by injecting small doses of botulinum toxin into the masseter muscle, which is the strongest chewing muscle. Thus, we prevent involuntary clenching of teeth.

Is botox for teeth clenching a painful procedure?

Before the procedure, we prevent the feeling of pain with topical anesthesia that we will apply to your face. In addition, very little pain is felt with fine-tipped tiny needles.

Will there be any scars on our face after the procedure?
